DII Report: DII baseball fall report — The SAC

Will the SAC get back to Cary after Catawba's run last year? Some of these teams are loaded, so let's find out.

Welcome back to the DII baseball fall reports. We have already taken a look at the PBC and Conference Carolinas, so let’s close out the Southeast Region and take a look at the SAC. If you are just joining, you have already missed quite a few, so be sure to get caught up.

Well, if you are a loyal subscriber, you know how I feel about the Southeast Region. Each year, this part of the country gives us at least five real contenders for the title — if not more — and they have proven that. The SAC’s Wingate won it all in 2021 and the Conference Carolinas’ North Greenville followed in 2022 with a run back to Cary in 2023 that fell short of a repeat. Last year, it was Catawba, making its second appearance in Cary since 2017.
