DII Report: Baseball fall report — Conference Carolinas

One of DII baseball's toughest conferences from top to bottom, there is a lot to look at here.

Welcome back to the DII baseball fall reports. This week we turn our attention to the absolutely stacked Conference Carolinas. If you are just joining, you have already missed the SSC, LSC, PSAC, and the MIAA, so be sure to subscribe and get caught up.

Conference Carolinas is in the Southeast Region. If you have followed my baseball writing over the past few seasons, you know I think this has become the toughest part of the country to escape. Both Wingate and North Greenville have won national championships in the past five years, and last year Catawba made it to the semifinals before running into the buzzsaw that is Tampa.

This all makes it impressive that Landon Powell has made North Greenville such a consistent presence in a conference that had four teams finish with 40 wins and four more finish above .500. That’s eight teams that finished above .500. EIGHT.
