DII Report: DII baseball fall reports — The PBC

Only one team found its way to the bracket last year from the PBC. Is there more in the hunt in 2025?

Welcome back to the DII baseball fall reports. This week we turn our attention to the Southeast Region and the Peach Belt Conference. If you are just joining, you have already missed six conferences, so be sure to subscribe and get caught up.

The PBC is a wild conference. There has been a different regular-season champion every year since 2018, so predicting a winner this year is as close to impossible it gets. Lander had the most regular-season wins last year, but it was Georgia College that won the Peach Belt Conference tournament and thus, the only team that found their way to the DII baseball championship bracket — which isn’t all that surprising in the unreal Southeast Region.

That said, there are some solid programs in the Peach Belt that can’t be overlooked.
