DII Report: The Small College Basketball Hall of Fame Classic

A little highlight reel for you this Friday.

How about some Friday free content? This past weekend, I was in Lakeland, FL, to take in the opening action of the DII men’s basketball season. And I am sharing this content for free as a thank you. I wasn’t able to book my trip until a week before, and the ONLY reason I was able to was because of the overwhelming support of the DII Report subscribers. This was a large reason I went paid, to have opportunities to cover big events like this and shine a light on the DII student-athlete, so a whole-hearted thank you.

I saw 10 very good teams, including defending national champion Minnesota State, 2023 national champion Nova Southeastern, Florida Southern, Lake Superior State, Point Loma, and more.
