DII Report™️: Slippery Rock football preview
Top returners, big transfers and more for one of the most consistent programs in DII.
Slippery Rock is coming off another tournament appearance in 2025, because, well, because of course they are. The Rock has been a perennial threat not only to win the PSAC, but win Super Region One. They have had a winning record for 15 consecutive seasons and have made the playoffs six years in a row, and 10 of the last 13.

When you are a successful program that puts up numbers like that for as long as Slippery Rock has been, you do it with many new faces. Slippery Rock has had some of the best to come through, like 2019 Harlon Hill winner Roland Rivers II, the one-time college football sack leader in Marcus Martin, the absurd wide receiving duo of Henry Litwin and Jermaine Wynn in 2019, and most recently, two-time Harlon Hill finalist Brayden Long. Every year, it seems like they are forced to reload, and every year, they compete. You would be foolish to think, despite key losses, the Rock won’t do the same in 2025.
