The DII Report takes a break from its regularly scheduled DII baseball news to remind you that the 2025 DII men’s and women’s basketball championships kick off this week. For those of you who don’t watch, I highly recommend that you do. The brackets are full of the same intensity and buzzer beaters that have made March a month every sports fan looks forward to at the Division I level.
You can stream the regional rounds on the host seeds site before the DII Elite Eight’s move to ESPN+. You can get all the information for the men’s tournament here and the women’s tournament here.
Consider this a crash course on the tournament, a DII college basketball bracket 101 course, if you would.
