DII Report: Giving Tuesday, the whole month long
Let's raise some money for Make-A-Wish and help some dreams come true.

Hey DII Nation! It is Giving Tuesday, but it is also December, a month full of holiday cheer and goodwill. And together, we can help make a wish or two come true.
You may not be aware, but NCAA Division II has been a national partner to Make-A-Wish America since 2003. In its 21 years as a partner, DII has raised millions of dollars to make wishes and dreams come true and has played an active part in making it happen.
Beginning today, Tuesday, Dec. 3, and continuing all the way through Dec. 31, 2024, I’ll take a little bit of every subscription and donate on January 4, 2025 (just to give me a little time to tally everything during the busy holiday rush) to Make-A-Wish America. This includes anyone who is already a subscriber and simply renews any time after today up until Dec. 31.
But wait, there’s more. Make-A-Wish allows you to donate in support of a school. When you subscribe, whether it be monthly or annually, send me a little note and let me know what school you support. The school that helps raise the most money? That is who the DII Report will mention when making its final donation.
How it will work:
If you subscribe for one month ($5.99), I’ll take $1 and add it to the Make-A-Wish bucket. I am charged a small fee on Substack, so after the fee, $1 is roughly 25% of your monthly subscription going to Make-A-Wish America.
If you subscribe for the year ($65), I’ll take $5 and add it to the Make-A-Wish bucket.
What do you get with a subscription? There are still nine DII baseball fall reports to come, plus access to the entire catalog of past reports. You’ll get my football insights, and as we get closer to the men’s and women’s basketball tournaments, you’ll get some articles there as well.
This is my 10th year covering DII sports. Being the DII beat writer has given me so much, that I would love to give some back. Let’s help make some wishes come true, together. As always, I can’t thank you enough for your support.
